We offer pasture raised chicken eggs from hens fed our own milled, corn and soy free, and GMO free feed. Our hens are antibiotic and hormone free.
THISTLE FAMILY FARM
We are a small egg farm in Creswell, Oregon about 8 miles south of Eugene. We raise our hens in open-air mobile units on 17 acres of pasture. Our mobile units are custom designed by us and fully self contained with feed, water, nesting boxes and roosting space for our girls. Hens are free to lounge on the roost or explore the pasture at any hour of the day, any time they like. Our chicken mobile units are moved weekly to fresh pasture to spread the manure and allow proper recovery of our pastures.
Our ducks are closed in at night due to their vulnerability as they prefer to sleep on the ground. They are free during all daylight hours to explore the acreage and swim in the seasonal creek to their hearts content!
